Eden’s Test

Testing for:
Neurovascular Compression (TOS) between the clavicle and Rib 1.

Procedure:

  • Patient is standing
  • Monitor their radial pulse on the affected arm
  • Patient depresses and retracts the shoulder of their affected arm

Positive Sign:
Patient’s symptoms reoccur (numbness, tingling in hands and fingers) or The patient’s radial pulse diminishes.
